Top Tips from Brides to Vendors:
#1 Be responsive. Nothing is more frustrating then reaching out to a vendor and hearing back weeks later on a request.
#2 Be nice. This is a hectic, emotional time when brides need lots of information. Please communicate with respect and patience.
#3 Price is important. We know that you have to make a living but we're trying to plan one of the most important days of our lives and for most, that comes at a price... a budget friendly price.
Top Tips from Vendors to Brides:
#1 Don't get stuck on price. Allow vendors to explain their services and offerings without making price the only deciding factor.
#2 Be patient. Remember that you are not your vendors' only client. Allow them time to respond.
#3 Trust your vendors. They are professionals and experts in their fields. Micro-managing them will only limit their capabilities and result in a sub-par performance.

I'd like to especially thank Andrea Townsend (TWELVE Hotel) for recommending me to be a featured panelist at this event. Dahlena Stapp and Lisa Meznar from the Perfect Wedding Guide were lovely to work with and it was great to see two of my favorite vendors, Carolyn Clement from Clement Catering and Cheryl Estes from Sweet Seats.
