She told me and her bridesmaids, Sulean and Leslie, that she wanted her bridal shower theme to be “A Legacy of Love” where she hoped to find ways to incorporate all the good marriage wisdom she could get into the day. Her wedding colors are black, white and gold so we chose to use them as the palette for the celebration.
The first step was to find a location that was cute and cost friendly so as soon as I stepped inside of Lenox Cupcakes on Peachtree Road, I knew I hit the jackpot! The space seats 50 guests and is perfect for intimate gatherings with hardwood floors, exposed brick walls and pom pom and lantern peppered ceilings.
The second step was to drink wine! Event planning can be stressful and besides, I had an idea to cover wine bottles with gold and glitter spray paint so I spent the summer sipping my favorite blends, Rose’ and Moscato all for the cause!
The day of the event finally came and was filled with many fun moments, laughter and tears, all key ingredients for a memorable bridal shower. Angela arrived to the venue in style stepping out of a stretch SUV and from that point on her face shone with joy and appreciation.
